Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-19.
This policy covers this website, the free trial and the Dogs ’n’ CAD app during early access.
Who to contact
For any question or request about your personal data, write to [email protected].
What is stored, and why
| What | Data | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Trial requests | Name, e-mail, company, a password if you chose one on the form (only as a one-way hash), the time and your IP address | Send the confirmation link and set up your trial account; prevent abuse |
| Trial accounts | Name, e-mail, password (only as a one-way hash), company and role, sign-in times; while you are signed in, a session with your IP address and browser type | Provide the service you asked for |
| Drawings and work | Drawings, projects, version history, comments, company templates and blocks, and an activity log of who changed what and when | Provide the service to you and your colleagues in the same company account |
| License use | Which account has the app open, in which window, and since when | Count who is using the trial at the same time |
| Waitlist and messages | Name, e-mail, company and phone (both optional), your message, whether you joined the waitlist, the time, when you gave consent, the page or app it came from, your browser type, and a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) | Answer you and, if you joined the waitlist, tell you when Dogs ’n’ CAD becomes available. Based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Security counters | Counters keyed by IP address or e-mail address | Limit repeated attempts (rate limits) and prevent spam |
Early access is free, so no payment details are stored.
No tracking
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it loads nothing from third-party servers. The app uses one cookie to keep you signed in, and stores settings in your browser; neither is used for tracking.
Where the data is stored, and who processes it
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and the app, and stores the data listed above (Cloudflare Pages and Functions, the D1 database and R2 file storage). Cloudflare may process data outside the EU/EEA.
- An e-mail delivery service sends the e-mails (trial confirmation, password reset, invitations and reminders) and receives the recipient’s address and the content of the e-mail.
Personal data is not sold, and is only shared with these processors or when the law requires it.
How long it is kept
- Unconfirmed trial requests: deleted about a week after the confirmation link expires. To allow only one trial per e-mail address, a one-way hash of the address is kept, not the address itself.
- Accounts and drawings: until you delete your account (or your company account is deleted), or until the early-access service ends.
- Waitlist entries and messages: until you ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer needed for the waitlist. Deleting your account also deletes the entries sent with its e-mail address.
- Sessions: until you log out or they expire, 30 days after your last visit. Security counters: a short time, typically about a day.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. In the app you can export your account data and delete your account yourself. For anything else, write to [email protected].
You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk) or the authority in your own country.
Changes
This policy is updated when the processing changes — at the latest before Dogs ’n’ CAD becomes commercial.
